About Golden Goose
Welcome to Golden Goose Farm Golden Retrievers
Golden Goose Farm Golden Retrievers is located in the beautiful countryside of Springfield Township, New Jersey. Over the years, we have been fortunate to gain the knowledge and experience to show, breed, and raise beautiful Golden Retrievers. Our focus is to breed beautiful, healthy Golden Retrievers with the wonderful temperament that makes them such beloved family companions.
Always having a particular passion for dogs, I began in Shelties in the mid 1980’s, I was a member of The Shetland Sheepdog Club of Northern New Jersey, played around in obedience and finished a number of conformation Champions over the next 14 years.
Some life changes and the need for a non shedding breed I got involved with the Havanese. I had much success in the Havanese and finished again, a number of Champions.
Both breeds taught me so much and opened many doors for me.
A Lifelong Love of Dogs
Finding My Way to Goldens
In the early 2000’s I moved back to New Jersey from Pennsylvania and I began working for Gold-Rush Goldens. I stayed with the Havanese for a very wonderful 14 or so years while also working for Ann and learning all about the Golden Retriever. My mentor and friend Ann Johnson taught me more than I could ever imagine, she was an amazing person with such a kind and giving nature. Eighteen years with Gold-Rush was a fabulous opportunity to learn so much about this breed and afforded me many new friendships with many of the breed’s finest people. I continue to learn more every day and offer our new families any information I can gather.
What We Strive For
Our focus is to breed beautiful, healthy Golden Retrievers with that fabulous temperament that makes them the wonderful, sweet family companions we all know and love. Here at Golden Goose we take great pride in breeding our Goldens. This includes trainability, lovely dispositions, genetic clearances, and beautiful type.
We go above and beyond in the care of our dogs and puppies. I have personally raised your puppy from birth until it is handed to you. We love these dogs and are always here to lend guidance and support for as long as needed.

Meet the Golden Goose Team
I am so pleased to announce that Stacy George Winkler has officially come on board with Golden Goose Goldens! If you’ve emailed us recently, you may have already noticed that Stacy has been answering most of our emails.
Since the loss of Gerry, it has been incredibly overwhelming managing all of the responsibilities that come with running the farm, caring for our dogs, and everything involved in raising and caring for our puppies and their moms. Having someone I know and trust to help with these responsibilities has been an incredible blessing.
A New Chapter at Golden Goose
A Friendship Nearly 30 Years in the Making
Stacy and I have been friends for nearly 30 years and co owned several goldens for a few years. We both worked for Gold-Rush in the past, and she brings with her an extraordinary amount of knowledge and experience. She was the head technician at a wonderful veterinary practice for more than 20 years, and her extensive hands-on experience and knowledge are truly invaluable.
Experience, Dedication, and Compassion
Stacy has always been a wonderful friend and someone with an incredible understanding of dogs, veterinary care, breeding, and all aspects of animal husbandry. She has been involved in showing and breeding since 1997 and is the President of Trenton Kennel Club. Her experience, dedication, and compassion for animals make her a tremendous addition to Golden Goose Goldens.
Please join me in welcoming Stacy George Winkler to the Golden Goose Goldens Family!
The Golden Goose Team
The People Behind the Ribbons
We also want to take a moment to recognize a very important part of the Golden Goose Team and send a very special thank you to the people who help make our dogs shine in the ring.
ALEXIS CORIELL
Junior Handler
We feel incredibly fortunate to have Alexis Coriell, a top-winning Junior Handler, who exclusively shows our dogs. Lexi has an incredible eye for our dogs and a natural talent in the ring, and we couldn’t be prouder to have her representing Golden Goose. If you follow us on social media you have seen her in action.
JENNIFER CARPENTER
The One Behind the Scenes
And, of course, behind every great Junior Handler is an amazing mom! Jennifer is a second-generation dog show girl who does a fabulous job getting our dogs ready for the ring, assisting with their training, and making sure they are always prepared to put their best paw forward.
CHRIS CORIELL
Keeping Everyone Moving
We certainly can’t forget Chris Coriell, who gets us to the shows, keeps everyone grounded, and somehow manages to keep all of us moving in the same direction! We truly would be lost without him.
Growing Together
We are also fortunate to co-own and co-breed some very special puppies with Lexi. We love having the opportunity to teach her the ropes from the whelping box all the way to the show ring. And, as you already know, she certainly doesn’t need much help with the latter!
Above all else, we value the friendships we have built along the way.
It truly feels like fate that all of these puzzle pieces have come together so perfectly. We are incredibly grateful for this team, for the dogs who brought us all together, and for the friendships that have grown along the way. Here’s to many more miles, many more rings, and many more unforgettable memories together!
